This sewing kit is made for beginners who are curious about sewing and creating clothes for children. Everything you need for your project is packed together, including a large scale printed pattern, illustrated sewing instructions, fabric, waistband elastic and a bodkin needle (a fabulous tool for pulling the elastic through the casing).
The kit contains enough materials to make two pairs of pants.
The kit is packed in a handmade, locally produced cardboard box. Use the box to neatly store paper patterns, fabric scraps, and sewing supplies.
A simple pair of kids’ pants created for novice sewers, these one-piece pants are constructed without side seams, making them a quick and easy project. They feature a wide leg with plenty of volume for movement and a versatile height-adjustable hem. The pants have side pockets and an elasticated waist.
The fabric is a 153 cm wide, light-to-medium weight cotton sourced in Italy. Choose between a soft blueberry blue and a rich grape purple, both featuring fine white stripes.
Both colourways are available in very limited quantities and cannot be restocked. The fabric is exclusively available as part of this sewing kit.
Wash at 30-40 degrees on a gentle spin. Always pre-wash your cloth before sewing to avoid any shrinkage.
